INDEPENDENT TECHNICAL ASSURANCE

Compartmentation & smoke control decisions that hold up to scrutiny.

Compliance Consult Group provides specialist review, verification and technical guidance across passive fire protection and smoke control systems — for building owners, NHS Trusts, contractors and facilities teams who need findings they can defend.

WHO WE ARE

The technical authority on compartmentation & smoke control

We support building owners, NHS Trusts, contractors, consultants and facilities teams in identifying compliance risks, interpreting complex standards, and developing practical, evidence-based remediation strategies.

Every determination we make is referenced back to the specific evidence relied upon — the manufacturer's Declaration of Performance, the relevant test standard, the as-installed configuration on site. Not opinion. Not assumption.

WHY CLIENTS ENGAGE US

Because compliance decisions have consequences.

We provide independent technical oversight where stakeholders require confidence that findings, recommendations and remedial strategies are technically justified, proportionate, and aligned with current legislation and guidance.

OUR APPROACH

How an assessment runs

01

Survey & evidence capture

We record how the system is actually built — substrate, sealing method, fixings, orientation, actuator and power arrangement — with full photographic evidence of the as-installed configuration, not just a tag number and a pass/fail.

02

Technical assessment

The installation is interpreted against its manufacturer's Declaration of Performance and the governing test standard by an assessor with genuine third-party fire test experience — engineering judgement applied to the whole system, not a tick-box comparison.

03

Certified reporting

A signed compliance report referencing the specific evidence relied upon for every determination, with practical, prioritised remedial recommendations — not just a list of failures.
